A community interest company called Sparkhouse Creatives whose aim is to bring local, affordable and accessible arts activities to young people in the rural areas of the North Cotswolds.
Established in 2025, this non-profit was created to fullfill the local needs for arts which connect the community and move into the future.
Sparkhouse Creatives is the home of Cotswold Youth Theatre since 2026, continuing our mission to provide accessible, inclusive and affordable Youth Theatre.

Freelance Assistant Director & Choreographer
Are you an emerging theatre-maker with a passion for directing, movement and inspiring young performers?
Cotswold Youth Theatre Company is seeking an enthusiastic Freelance Assistant Director & Choreographer to support the creation of our National Theatre Connections 2027 production.
The Role
Working alongside the Director, you will help shape rehearsals, develop movement and choreography, support young actors, and assist in bringing the production to life from rehearsal through to performance.
Sparkhouse Creatives is seeking an author, poet, or creative writing facilitator to lead a 12-week creative writing programme for young people aged 12-21.
Working with a group of up to 15 participants, you will inspire young writers, encourage creativity and self-expression, and support them in creating work for a professionally published anthology.
